Sustainable Impact in Yaoundé

Between 2024 and 2025, CMANA Canada conducted a series of highly impactful medical missions at the Central Hospital of Yaoundé. These initiatives successfully delivered essential healthcare services to the Cameroonian population across multiple specialties — and went beyond clinical care to invest in the long-term capacity of local healthcare providers.

These missions were made possible through the dedicated commitment of our medical volunteers and the strong collaborative partnership with local health authorities.

What We Delivered

Services Provided

Comprehensive Care — 650+ Consultations

Over 650 medical consultations were provided to patients across various specialties — giving hundreds of Cameroonians access to expert clinical care they would otherwise not have received.

Surgical Excellence — ~80 Procedures

Our surgical teams performed nearly 80 procedures encompassing gynecology, orthopedic surgery, general and laparoscopic surgery, and uro-gynecology — life-changing interventions for patients who had long waited for surgical care.

Specialized Services — Hundreds of Treatments

Beyond surgeries, the missions provided hundreds of essential treatments including anesthesia services, specialized injections, and physiotherapy sessions — addressing a broad spectrum of clinical needs in the community.

Capacity Building — University-Level Training

A key pillar of our Cameroon missions was professional development. University-level training sessions were conducted for local healthcare providers — ensuring long-term clinical advancement and leaving a lasting legacy beyond each visit.
